"Growing Australian", our society's magazine is published quarterly and mailed to all members.
50 pages of articles and photographs on topics ranging from Australian native plants for making garden hedges, building a garden pond, to reviews of the latest books on native plants, and much more.

Group newsletters
Local District Groups and Study Groups publish regular newsletters for their members.
Learn about native plant and gardening issues and events specific to the local area or the topic of the Study Group.

Free native plant seed
Request up to 6 FREE packets of native plant seed per quarter
There are 100's of species to choose from in the member's seed bank.

Discounted books and gift items
Over 100 titles and gift items available at discounted member's rates.
Purchases can be made from the member's bookstall by mail order or in person at state-wide Quarterly gatherings.

 

How to Join

EITHER... contact your local District Group or a Study Group and apply for membership
On joining, the Group will charge you for both their own membership fees and APS Victoria membership fees (if you are not already an APS Victoria member).

District Groups are located all over Victoria. For information on how to contact your local District Group and their membership fees, click on the locality most convenient for you.

Study Groups cater for members interested in a specific topic. Because they operate Australia-wide across all states and territories, they come under the umbrella of our national body, ANPSA - Australian Native Plants Society (Australia). Members are linked by correspondence and newsletters. To obtain information about or to contact a particular Study Group click on the appropriate entry in the table below.

Single Membership $25.00
Family Membership $27.50
Overseas Membership $40.00
Student Membership (Secondary or Tertiary) $19.00

Family = 2 Adults + dependants living at the same address.
All memberships include "Growing Australian", our society's magazine
Most members choose to join a Local District Group or Study Group as well as APS Victoria. Membership fees for these groups are payable directly to them and are in addition to APS Victoria's membership fee. You must first be a member of APS Victoria to be eligible to join a Local District Group or Study Group
